Vista Theatre

4473 Sunset Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027, USA

Built in 1923 on the site where D.W. Griffith filmed The Birth of a Nation and Intolerance, this single-screen palace features a rare Egyptian Revival interior with pharaoh masks adorning the walls—a style inspired by King Tut's tomb discovery during construction. Purchased by Quentin Tarantino in 2021 and reopened in 2023 with 70mm projection, showing films exclusively on film with a cafe named Pam's Coffy.
