This 1925 movie palace served as a preview house for major Hollywood studios, drawing stars from Elizabeth Taylor to Charlie Chaplin. Its iconic 100-foot neon tower, added by theater architect S. Charles Lee in 1940, crowns an atmospheric auditorium painted to resemble twilight skies—now beautifully restored and on the National Register.
