This 188-seat treasure in El Segundo dates to 1921 when it opened as the State Theatre for refinery workers. In 1968, organists Bill Coffman and Bill Field installed their meticulously restored 1925 Mighty Wurlitzer—complete with 2,600 pipes painted in fluorescent colors—creating LA's premier venue for silent films with live accompaniment, just as they were originally shown.
