Bay Theater

Pacific Palisades, California

Originally designed by theater architect S. Charles Lee in 1948, this landmark closed in 1978 and became a hardware store before being masterfully revived by Cinépolis in 2018 within Rick Caruso's Palisades Village. Now operated by Netflix since 2021, the five-screen luxury cinema includes the only 35mm projector in the Cinépolis chain, added at the request of A-list directors living in the Palisades.
