Named for the camera mechanism that controls light (the "/" represents an f-stop), a/perture is the only dedicated year-round art house cinema in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad. Since 2010, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit has screened over 250 films annually, with more than 40% documentaries and 50% international releases, building community through cinema in downtown Winston-Salem.
